1) Arduino Duemilanove.
2) The Arduino and processing environment.
This project is trying to make something compelling with connections to the arduino and computer. I burned up on board wiring this, and then went on to the second board paying closer attention to the insulation on the wires and which pins were set to OUTPUT.

My original intention was to create a game that used the accelerometer of the iPhone/Touch to have the user move the green light to try and catch the red light. Due to time constraints I had the Arduino just drive the matrix and light red and green at random. It does mesmerize you after several hours of hooking up tiny wires and writing code. So it was mildly entertaining. I have included some pictures and a short movie of it running.
At the last minute I did think of a way to connect it to the iPhone with touchOSC but didn't get to implement it, at some point I might just for fun.
