Fun with time lapse
I have a bit of free time recently so I decided to try out one of the things I have always been fascinated with, time lapse photography. I didn't have the correct camera for it, so I reprogrammed one of my old Canon cameras using the scripts in the CHDK Wiki. I had to install a new operating system in my EEEPC 901. I chose Fuduntu because it seemed to have a nice combination of speed and size for the EEEPC. The E has a flash card reader built into it so I didn't have to run out and buy one, worked like a charm. My BASIC is a bit rusty, but the scripts loaded and things look really cool. Below is one of the shot sequences I recently took.

Updated my iPhone app, CalcTriangle ....

I finally got around to updating my iPhone app CalcTriangle, I have added some cool new features and have a few more ideas to add before I am done. It now comes with the metric conversion features so many of the people bought it requested. If you need a simple to use calculator for doing angles, area and sides, then this would be for you. I designed it based on the need I had for a decent, carpenter friendly, calculator. You can get it from the App Store here. Thank you for reading about my app.
